WORK DIARIES: Melancholy Monday

Monday is here again to remind us of the reality we left over the weekend. Monday is here again to bring us back to earth and remind us that there's school and work to worry about. Monday is here again to punish us for eating too much over the weekend. I'm obviously not a fan of Mondays and it's mostly because my alarm clock automatically goes back to life at exactly 8.30 in the morning and it's here to remind me that I have to visit the gym once again.

I'm so thankful it only lasts 24 hours in a week. Monday, please just end already.

Lego Land

Last Saturday, my family and I spent the whole day at Gelo's 7th birthday party that was held at Blue Leaf, The Fort. The party's theme was patterned from his favorite toy, Lego hence the the whole place was inspired by Lego Land in the US. I honestly have no one to describe the party and you'll know why once you start scrolling donw. The party started at around 3pm then ended allllll the way till 9 pm. There program went on from 6 hours straight and just like Lego Land, the place was filled with endless games, food, drinks, prizes, mascots and ofcourse, Lego :) I can't wait for you to see what went on! 

I knew there was going to be a Giraffe made of Lego... but I didn't know it was gonna be this big. I almost fainted and I swear to God, I was seriously forcing my tito to let me bring it home. HAHAHA! 

All of Gelo's favorite cartoon characters and superheroes attended the party as well! :) Hello Spongebob! 

Still dying. I swear, a giraffe is this tall in real life and it's always been a dream of mine to ride one. I was THIIIIIS close to riding this. 

This is probably one of the 20 food stalls inside the party! I swear my family and I were dying of food coma! 

An ATM machine where you would withdraw money for attendees to use to "buy" food, drinks and prizes inside :)

I don't usually post birthday parties I attend but this one I just HAD to!! And who can blame me? :) I want to go to the real Lego Land now that I spent a day at Gelo land and had that much fun :) I'm sure you have the same sentiments after my post ;)

On Repeat

You've seen these items of clothing on my blog here before and you're gooooood if you actually guess what post or where I wore them to! :) I'm starting to love mint green, purple and blue together and here's a testament that 1. It is okay to repeat clothes and 2. It's always okay to experiment colors together :)

I wore this outfit to Angelo's 7th birthday yesterday. He's the son of one of my dad's closest friends. They go waaayy back so they're like immediate family to us already :) I can't wait to blog about the party! I'm sure you'll go wooooow too! :) Have a great Sunday! :)

National Events Day

Back when I had all the time in the world to go to every event I'm invited to, there would always be atleast one day in a month or a quarter that about 5-6 events will be happening in one day and my blogger friends would attend as much as we could! I'm not sure who between Pax or Ana conned the term National Events Day but I could say that it was one of the best and memorable days of my blogging life.

 I experienced it again last Thursday (after a million years) wherein I was invited to 5 events and tried my very best to go to all. This time though, I brought my sister to one and brought Dondi to two. I had class from 2:30-4:20 and my first one was starting at 3 pm so I was too late for that and didn't get to go (BOO :(), the one that started at 5 though was too far away so I couldn't go too, the Lee Min Ho event was starting at 5 pm as well so I rushed to that stayed for about 2 hours then flew (haha) to a Dove event happening at Fort then after about half an hour, I went to Republiq for the SM Accessories launching :) It may sound like a hassle but I'm sure you know why I love events (blogged about it!) and Dondi loves free good food and events always always have that so he doesn't mind going with me! hahaha!

But yes, one crucial trick to surviving National Events Day is to wear an outfit that's suitable for both day and night and here's what I wore:

#LeeMinHo4Bench

I'm sure alot of you reading this blog are REALLLLY excited about this blog. I won't be surprised if you're shaking a bit or your heart's pounding too fast. I heard that millions of people adore and are biggest fans of Bench's NEWEST #GlobalBenchsetter, Lee Min Ho :) My sister and I were one of the lucky four bloggers who were given the chance to attend his press conference yesterday at Makati Shangri-la Hotel. We waited for about 2 hours for him to come out because I heard that he needs rest from the airport welcome you crazy fan girls out there gave him!! :) Sharing with you a few pictures from yesterday's conference: 

Sam Oh hosted the event because they needed someone to translate all questions for him in Korean and someone who could translate everything he's saying to english as well :) It's amazing how he can only speak Korean yet he's loved by millions around the world! 

It took quite awhile for him to warm up and laugh but when he did... 

Aww no wonder this guy has so much fans around the world! :)
