The Magic of Yabu

The magic of Yabu is something you could compare to love (please excuse my cheesiness these days! hahahaha) its something you always see online and hear from friends yet its something you can't find just anywhere, anytime. And I guess thats the beauty of Yabu. You have to come prepared - by prepared I mean an empty stomach so you have to sacrifice a bit and skip a meal before. Then you have to travel far away (in my case atleast an hour on a regular day) and when you get there, right when it's there right in front of you, you have to wait for a few minutes to just get a table and then another few to get your order. And right when you've chosen what you want, you have to prepare a bit more, the sauce you need and those things you have to crush. Then it arrives, you take a bite and you forget everything you had to go through just to get a taste of their famous Katsu... And you remember that just like love, all things come to those who wait. (HAHAHA so cheesy. Who wants fries with this?) 

 

Yabu just made the lives of people who live in the New Manila area easier because they opened their second branch in Robinsons Magnolia.

I know this photo is a bit blurry but this is exactly how you feel right after. A bit light headed but the good kind. The kind that would make you want to go home and sleep right after! haha

I just got a dose of Katsu earlier and satisfied my cravings! Tell me about your experience once you do get to try it :)

Clothes of the Same Print

I never thought clothing and shoes of the same print can go so well together. I was really hesitant to wear it out at first because people might think I look like a clown but then again, most of the clothes fashion bloggers wear make them look like one! haha A very very stylish pretty clown atleast (is this only in my head?)! Hahaha Anyway, I didn't want everything to be so busy so I wore a solid colored blazer :) What do you think of the outfit? :)

Here's look 4 for my human jeans segment! :) I'm down to my last 1 and I'll be posting that later today! :) I don't usually wear pink since I've always perceived that color to be more of Verniece's but this pair was too cute to pass on. I love the length, the color and the price! Its under 500! :) What a deal right?

D & V at 3!

People usually do this on facebook but since Dondi recently removed himself there and the sole purpose of this is for him to see it, I'll just put it here. I won't try to make this in a gross chessy way but if ever I do go in that direction please excuse me! haha This only happens once in a year anyway! haha 

 

Today is a very special day for Dondi and I and don't bother asking me why I'm home on the day of our anniversary writing this blog post instead of being out with him. But today was spent in the most unconventional way but nonetheless a memorable one just like how it has been in the past 1,095 days :)  

 

I could actually say that Dondi's my great love (please try not to puke! haha) and if given the chance to change things, I would want him to not only be that but if possible also my first, puppy and every other word you can put together with love just cause I'm sure he'll make all those experiences better. He has taught me to love everyone despite their past and taught me to never judge a person or an experience by the cover. Dondi taught me to always enjoy the little details and yet also enjoy the big grand gestures once in awhile because he has supplied me more than extra doses of both the past three years we've been together. Dondi taught me to never go to bed angry and there is nothing impossible with the person you love. 

 

Thank you Dondi for always loving all versions of myself - may it be my pms-ing one, my loving one, my blogger self, my pimple faced, my fat self, my jeje John Llyod loving self, my bloated self, my jeans and loose tops self and all the other versions you have only seen and witnessed. Thank you for giving me reasons to sing love songs, dance a happy dance, fights that keep our relationship interesting, Mojo (HES A DOG!!), for all the food you've filled my always hungry stomach, for always letting me grow and most importantly, for loving and accepting me for myself and never doing anything to change it. I love you :) Happy happy 3rd Anniversary darling!! :)

Instagram: ZENZEST EVENT

Like I said in my previous post, I'll be sharing more just like before and here's me trying! haha I used to actually blog about the events I got and I actually did miss taking pictures other than what I wore to the event :P I'll be sharing through instagram pictures I took from the event. Here's my first post under the segment! Liz Lanuzo and the team behind Zen Zest invite me over dinner and some dessert to launch their newest line of products! :) They launched the sweet line wherein they are colognes with sweet scents like vanilla, cherry and very lime (seen on my last picture!) :) It was held at Mango Tree, The Fort and they have amazing foood! Other than seeing my fellow bloggers and meeting new ones, that was favorite part of the night :) Anyway, here are they!

 

I went to Pax Ipac's surprise party right after! HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAXIE!! I love you sis! How bout you, what were you up to earlier tonight? :)

Perfume

I'm currently watching Perfume: Story of a Murder for my finals later this afternoon and it's one weird movie!! haha I'm in the part wherein he went to work for a perfumer and he's showing him that he can actually mix scents! haha Anyway, peplum skirts are everywhere and I love that it can actually cover the tummy you get after eating a full meal! hahaha I wore this last week when my family and I had dinner out in Resorts World :) Don't you love floral and sequins together?

BTS: Black Beauty Tutorial Shoot

A few weeks ago, Black Beauty invited me to be one of their subjects for the a series of tutorials they're doing for all you :) As for the video where I'm in, they will be teaching you how to apply make up and how to fix your hair that is appropriate for a first date :) 

 

have you tried Black Beauty products? I was quite surprised with them! They're affordable and works too :)
