A hot day in November: What's in my bag?

Silly as it sounds, my village Merville has it's own country club and since it doesn't happen very often anymore wherein the suns out, my brother and I decided to hit the place! He swam while I studied and took pictures :-) 

 

As requested: 

I brought the bag I prepared for tomorrow and for the past year, I've been bringing the same things everyday. Of course the only difference would be the books I bring and the extra materials required but basically this is what I do! :-) 

Dear readers who go the extra mile and ask questions in my fs, thank you so much for the requests because they give me new ideas for new blog posts :-) Thank you so much :-) You have no idea how much your support means to me :-) And to the 4 or 5 people requested this through email and formspring, here it is :-) Hope this makes you happy! 

This bag is a gift from my sister! The color's really pretty, don't you think so? :-) 

Here's my everyday make up kit! It contains: My powder, blush on, three colors of eyeliner, my brush, sunblock, lipbalm and lipstick for emergencies!

That black Moleskin planner right there is one of the little things I treasure the most :-) I always bring a pencil with me and a pen to take down notes! and thats my Jordi notebook right there :-) 

 A closer look at the print! I love Jordi Labanda notebooks forever because of it's unique girly designs! :-) They're expensive though so they hurt my wallet so much everytime I buy them at the start of the term :-( 

I'm not much a techie so this is the only gadget I bring to school! haha I used to bring an ipod with me but ever since I lost my itouch, I've been so scared! Look at how emo my theme is... so pretty though! :-) haha

and lastly, I always bring this brush with me even if I barely use it! haha & my favorite sunglasses from H&M :-)

So like what I said in my last entry, I'll be going on a hiatus for two weeks because I have to concentrate on school! But when I go back, I have two events to blog about right away because this coming weekend, I will go to the National Library to do my ENGLRES work and I'll be taking pretty pictures because that place is an oldie but a goodie! I'll wear something nerdy to match the books ;-) haha Then, TND will have a collaboration shoot with awesome somethings hihi cant say it yet but I'm really excited for that!! And then on the Saturday after that, I'll be going to an Adidas launch with my bestfriend Elisha! I got the Evite last Friday :-) Till then guys! Have a great 2 weeks ahead of you :-)

Waiting for Sunshine

I hate it when I don't get to take my pictures outdoor so since I was out already, I made it a point to go home early so that I could take these photos! haha Its my yaya who takes them so I have to go all the way home for me to get my pictures taken. And with my summery outfit, I thought that this place was the perfect one because of the back trees and the background :-) So I wore this to a make up gig I had earlier. I was supposed to have two but TND's client, backed out on us last minute. I hate that :-( but its alright! Will have another one next week!! Anyway, it was for Rosanna Aranaz's online store and I'm so happy I got this opportunity cause  I was so scared to do a look with dark eyes and red lips because I'm not one to do it to myself but lo and behold, actually pulled it off! Also thanks to Amanda Alegre's pretty face! haha Here are the pictures from earlier... not much cause I didn't want to spoil it! Rosanna has amazing styling skills! Really love it :-) 

I was waiting for the model in their showroom and omg their bags were TOOOO Pretty!!! I wanted to buy one! haha

Was shocked to see it was Amanda who was gonna play model since we're friends outside and I was expecting someone I didn't know at all! haha Didn't wanna take a picture of her make up yet cause I want you guys to see the final shots! :-) will blog about it when it's out! I won't be going out tonight since I have to study for the two midterms I have for next week :-) wish me luck guys!

We've Got It All For You!

I'm actually proud to say that I love SM. I love how they really have it all for you at really really affordable prices! This place is heaven for me right now since I'm on a shopping ban since I max out my card last month and my mom got extra pissed. I love how EVERYTHING is so cheap!! and yet so pretty :-) Went there today to buy a new foundation for the 2 make up gigs I have for tomorrow. So right when I got to the store, I immediately remembered the pretty Parisian shoes I saw during PFW so I wanted to check them out and lo and behold, everything was so pretty! I honestly couldn't choose! I came down to 3 choices.  Too bad I didn't get to take a picture of the 3! One were white booties, another was a replica of the grey booties Zoo sells and these brown heels that gave off a Jeffrey Campbell vibe :) and guess what I chose! 

They're nice right?? But I'm dying to get originals though!! Its already on my Christmas wish list so I guess I'm getting it December! :-) 

Anyway, I wanted to do someone's make up first before going to the two shoots tomorrow. One's for TND btw! FINALLLLYYY a second shoot! and personally, I think it's gonna be a great collaboration :-) So watch out for that! Will definitely blog about it when it's out :-) Thank God for great friends like Mills that she came over even if I texted her very last minute already! :-) Here's what I did in pictures:

Wore this to school today. I decided to pair this black lace pullover over a jersey black dress, paired it with my favorite booties and then a stand out bag. I hate the looks I get because of these shoes! haha But its okay :-D I'm sure they'll understand and get the feel of it after awhile. hahaha

On to my day, I love how November's starting for me because of all the opportunities I've been getting! I won't spoil it first because I might jinx it but I'm really really excited for them! :-) I really owe this blog alot because I can feel that I'm slowly getting somewhere and that somewhere is the place I've been wanting to go to for the longest time. Studying x Vern = ?

That ? right there is very appropriate because those two just don't mix. AT ALL. The past week plus tomorrow, that will extend till next week has been midterms for me so I've been quite busy with school - Even if it doesn't seem like it! haha I haven't been much of a fan of school lately because I feel like I'm in the wrong course but since I'm halfway there, there's no way out anymore. I wanna take up so many things!! Like the advanced make up classes, a business course (even if I'm not very good at math), culinary, literature, fashion design, photography, Spanish this time, maybe tomorrow Italian.... ahhh so much!! I guess it's "free-spirited" side of me talking right now. or maybe I'm just bored haha But I'm hoping it's just a phase because I gotta shape up for school! My grades might suffer if I'm too distracted :-( Anyway, this is a very random post since it's not really about the things I usually blog about but here's what I've been doing since 11 pm: 

                                                                                                

These two have been my bestfriends for the past 3 terms. I've had French 1, 2 and 3 and I think I still suck at it :-( Boo!

As you can see, I'm a very frustrated photographer.... HAHA I guess it'll just stay as a frustration! hahaha

Even got a boo-boo from cutting papers! :-( - Thats betadine guys, not blood! hahaha 

Me at 1 am... no make up, unbrushed hair and no pretty clothes just a sad face because I still have to study even if its already 1.42 am :( 

Btw, I had to delete my favorite things post because I had to do some changes in the layout! Will post it again before Sunday! :)

Spooky spooky halloween!

Though I consider this year the worst ever, there were still fun parts to the most spooky time of the year! First, I met up with 3 of "pre-gaming" dates Banina, Dinnie and Denny! We met up in Icon and had drinks that my dad took care of :) Thanks dad! Went to ponti after and it was TOOOO hot like usual. It was fun for about 30 minutes then it died down. Ponti, you always fail me. It was great seeing my friends though!! I missed them sooooo much :) :) 

 

And here are the costumes I saw last night that caught my attention! haha 

I have no idea who these two are but their costumes were just too nice not to take a photo with! :) its like those costumes you see when you go to a theme park! haha
