SCHOOL DIARIES: A Date

We're still tackling poems in my literature class and we were tasked to look for a poem about infatuation for a group project. I came across A Date by Kevin Mcfadden and it's such a cute poem that it actually does capture how most first dates go. I think that the honeymoon phase is the cutest and probably the most amusing part of a relationship :) Don't you agree?? Here's the poem: 
The first seated takes the chance he’ll be stood up. 
She’s getting on with the hope she may get off. 
One and one make one in this riddle.
Or, more closely, comedy routine:
first, impressions; second, observations.
Impolite to have thirds. 
Bachelors and bachelorettes beware: more than tonight they can mess up your order.

SCHOOL DIARIES: Colors

Whenever I'm uninspired to whip up an outfit for the day, I open my tumblr, search for Olivia Palermo on my search bar, scroll down and look for an outfit of hers to inspire me. I really love how she looks good in any outfit and the way she effortlessly puts two and two together. Recently, she's FINALLY been donning colors and you have no idea how happy I am about it! She barely wears bright colors and I guess it's her way of brightening up winter in the States. Sooo expect more colors on my outfits! :)

SCHOOL DIARIES: Brave The Rain

Freecuts are fun when you have friends around who are on breaks too but when you have made the effort to get up from bed, get dressed and reviewed for that day's quiz, its not. But then again, who wouldn't want freecuts on a cozy day like today? :) 

Enough about something as random as that, and let me talk about what I wore to school and work yesterday. I wore flats to school then just changed to these boots when I went to work. The senate's on recess so I can get away with something as casual as this :)

SCHOOL DIARIES: Clown

Its been about a week straight now that I've been having bad hair days and it's the main reason why I have to wake up an hour earlier than usual to blow dry my hair every single day or else I'll look like a scarecrow... or a clown. Especially in this outfit, I know not everyone can pull off a certain look (wild printed leggings!) and I'm not even sure if I did pull this off but I just try :) haha! I'm inlove with the print and just to be sure, I just kept everything else simple to tone the leggings and nothing tones down a look like a denim jacket :)

SCHOOL DIARIES: Reciprocated

I wore this to school a few days ago. Just like my previous terms, I always have two days in a week where I spend the whole day in school and those are the times I usually dress to impress. Well, impress myself. How I look always almost reciprocates to how I feel and when I think I look good, I feel good and that's my secret weapon to surviving a day full of classes and then have enough energy to attend a meeting or two in between! :) Try it! I swear it helps!

Here's a quick outfit post I would like to share with you. I wore this to school the other day without the heels! I just slipped them on after when I attended a quick meeting :) Don't you love the shoes?? It's a conversation starter piece! I honestly never thought I would be wearing something like this but white pumps would always be an exemption.

I would like to say sorry on behalf of my camera. It's starting to go bizerk on me and don't worry, I shall give it a lecture tomorrow haha! I hate how it makes the shots look like they're taken using my iphone :( Anyway, I hope you don't find this outfit too plain :)

SCHOOL DIARIES: Monday

I usually spend Mondays with Dondi since it's one of his rest days from work. Ever since he started working, I've been seeing less of him because of how hectic both our schedules can get so starting the week with him is a great thing for us :) This Monday was extra special though compared to all the other 3 Mondays of the month since it was our 37th monthsary! We don't really celebrate it in a big way since we've had too much of these already (thats 37 times guys! haha) so we just make sure to eat all meals together :) 

I wanted to wear something comfortable and thank God I found this sweater at Cotton On Megamall (their newest branch!) and I need more of them!

SCHOOL DIARIES: Prettiest Thing

One of my best guy friends Marco shared the best mix I've heard in the longest time. It's called Feel. Good. by one of his friends Nikki Tan and you can listen to it here. It contains the best feel good songs from my favorite genre and it's best listened to when dressing up in the morning, when you're stuck in traffic or anything in between. It's whats been helping me the best few days cope with juggling thesis stress, school work/finals stress and blogging all the same time :) So to all my readers who are not having the best week so far, listen to it! It will definitely turn things around :) 

Anyway, if you've noticed my outfits lately, they've all been dresses, prints and bright colors. It's the best I've felt in awhile (even if I don't look like it! haha I blame stress!) :)

I AM FINALLY DONE WITH THIS TERM!! But I'm not sure if French will let me leave :( I just took the hardest French test and I think its difficulty was next to Robles when I took him for EURODEV (for the euro studies students from DLSU, you'll get me!) :( huhuhu I don't usually say that but I just had to! :( But nonethless I am done with this term and I rewarded myself by saving all my pull outs for my last day. I knew last week that I'll be needing retail therapy after my finals and thank God my dear sponsors are always so kind to let me give in to them! :) For those who are still going through school, goodluck! :)

SCHOOL DIARIES: Tomboy

I wore this to school a few days ago. I make sure to dress up on Mondays and Wednesdays since I stay in school from 9 am to 9 pm but ofcourse in something appropriate and comfortable. This is probably one of my favorite looks from my school diaries segment! Its not me to dress so masculine and I don't think I'll ever do that hence the pearls and the pointy shoes :) I used my sister's SLR so the colors are bright again! haha I'm not so used to it!
