Color Blocking

I will never ever forget this outfit of Camilla Belle from Gucci. I think it was the outfit that first got me to notice the color blocking trend. She wore this to a Pre Grammy brunch and it was love at first sight for me! So gorgeous and unexpected colors put together :) I love it!

So I wanted to copy the outfit but since I lacked both the pants and the blazer, I just tried copying the color combination instead! :) I know its faaaaar from the inspiration but I tried! :P haha Wore this when I went to go to my final interview today for a new opportunity for me. Its quite obvious what it will be because of the last picture but I just got the final word today and I couldn't be happier! :) A new distraction, new opportunity, new exposure! So excited to start on Friday! :)

Fur and Danys

Like I said in my other post, I had a shoot with Heidi yesterday in Ayala Triagle! You saw this outfit in my BTS pictures but here are the final ones! I'm super inlove with this outfit and I wish I could wear it out again :( I probably will so don't judge me... hahaha

Got the fur vest from from my sister as her birthday gift to me and I think its from Pink Manila, the lace dress that I wore as a top is from Pink Manila as well, the skirt you've seen in my Oxygen post, bag I got for 250 pesos in the bazaar last weekend and my new favorite babies, my Jessica Simpson Danys! :) haha

Not So Camera Shy

Started my Monday pretty early than usual because my sister and I met up with Heidi in Ayala Triangle to shoot some photos! :) The theme was black since Heidi and I barely have that concept so it was new and I'm glad it turned out nice!! :) I'll probably be posting it tomorrow since Heidi is so awesome, not only does she shoot fast but she edits and upload fast. WOOHOO! haha She'll always be one of my favorites, I swear :)

We only shot for about an hour and to think I had two sets of outfits and my sister had three! Amazing Heidi! I guess it just goes to show how comfy I am in front of her and her camera and how she knows me well already when it comes to angles and all :) Also got to meet up with my friend Banina cause her cousin Chippy and her fetched Heidi! (yiiii hahaha don't kill me Heidi!) 

Had lunch in CBD with them before we went our separate ways :) 

it was my first time to eat there and I wasn't very satisfied with their cheesteak! I like the one in Rockwell more :) 

After that my sister and I headed to Glorietta and Greenbelt to do some clothes hunting till closing time! Such a tiring day, I swear! So anyway, since it's already almost summer, you'll probably see more of my sister here in my blog :) Please don't get sick of our faces since we look the same so its like you'll be seeing double the amount of times you regularly see my face here :| :)) 

Changed into something more comfy since I knew we were gonna do alot of walking! This is probably the most "chill" outfit I posted here on my blog! :) 

I'm loving espadrilles already! No wonder alot of people love them! Got mine last weekend at the bazaar and ofcourse got in leopard print instead of the usual so that I'll be standing out in the sea of espadrilles in Taft when I go back to school this summer :))

A SHOE TALE TURNS 18!!!!!

Last Friday, I turned 18 and I honestly had the birthday jitters because you know, turning 18 is a big thing and I was so scared that the day wouldn't turn out the way I would hope for. But the lucky girl that I am, the day was even better than I expected!!!!!!!!! It was such a memorable, epic, insert all the great happy words in the word here! You might not care but this blog post is an important one because I would want to go back to this day over and over again and I'll just read this blog post  to go back :D

So when the clock stroke 12, I get a phone call from my awesome friends telling me to look out my balcony! (I kinda expected this because they do this for all their closest friends and I believe I'm one of their bestest ever haha so yeah there HAHA love you three!!) I was sooo happy to see them because I knew that they couldn't come to my party that night but I love them nonetheless because they were one of the few I saw on the first few minutes of my birthday! 

Then after a few minutes, they "had" to leave cause they were "in a hurry" and they told me they have kwento in a bit 10 minutes so they left and then I get a phone call from Dondi telling me to go outside! This may probably sound silly but I was so happy to see him with a cake and a candle because my first two cakes didn't have one so I blew my official birthday candle with him! So happy :) But this is probably one of the last few photos you'll see of the both of us. so there.. but happy thoughts happy thoughts! haha

Dominos too! :P haha so onto my day, I don't have pictures from the bazaar I went to in The Grove but I spent my birthday afternoon there! I was so happy with my purchases! Then at around 7 pm, I met up with my high school barkada in our hotel room in Mariott and had pregaming! I swear I missed them so much!!!! We barely have these gatherings since college started and I'm so happy we were almost complete!!!!

I feel like these pictures don't even do justice to how epic this day was and I can't even begin to explain what happened that night. Both the good and the bad. Things went a bit wayward after 1 but I'm just so happy that my birthday itself was such a success. Thank you to everyone who greeted me, I really felt kilig because alot remembered!!! Thank you to everyone who went to my birthday, enjoyed the night, got drunk and came out just to see me! THANK YOU! And lastly, thank you so so much to my family for making this night possible. So lucky to have them, I swear. :)
